Back to my Favourite Venue today doing Wedding Hair & Make up @ Hengrave Hall. Starting out from home with my trustee assistant at 6.30! We firstly went to The Angel Bury St Edmunds to start the Hair and Make up preparations for the day, then onto the stunning Hengrave Hall.
Bride wore the most flattering colour dress a very pale gold, with a beautiful sheer lace back to it. The bridesmaids wore Navy Blue and Bride blended perfectly with them by having Navy shoes with gorgeous diamanté Butterflies on, couldn’t resist a picture!
Well starting with Friday at Prested Hall with the lovely Melissa, hairstyling for her and her B’Maids… Her Wedding scheme I found Inspiring, as you can see in the photos. A soft Pink shade for Bridesmaids, this ran through into the delicate flower detail of her Ian Stuart dress (Stunning!) The Bride had a half up/down style (styled with extensions to give Va Va Voom!) and Briidesmaids hair in Buns some with plaited front/ some with plaited back but all mixed in with two curly little flower girls to finish off a very soft and feminine Weding Party.
The photos say it all on this Wedding! Bride Beautiful / Bridesmaid Stunning (Wearing Coral, Im loving this colour!) Vintage Cool (The Groom and BM Rocked up to the Wedding on their Dads old Vintage Motorbike)
The Church Ceremony in a little Village in Bury and reception in a Marquee on the In Laws Farm, covered in Bunting just looked amazing!
So much I’ve seen it may take me a while so bare with!
I’ll work backwards as my memory isn’t what it used to be! but I’d like to share with you snippets from my recent Weddings that I hope you will enjoy and give you some ideas, possibly Inspire you… as some have for me.
Today (Unfortunatley not the best day weather wise) Although I have heard (recently) in a humanist service rain on your Wedding day is highly auspicious and brings luck. I was honoured to be Hair & Make up artist for the lovely Emily getting ready at her Parents (stunning) Farmhouse in Woodbridge Suffolk. A wonderful natural down to earth family, Emily is very much in Love with the ‘Finish’ Oliver and I wish them every bit a wonderful life together.
A local church service, Emily had a stunning dress bought over from USA, where she is studying at Harvard (Very clever girl!) A soft organza and lace dress with a jacket/lace sleeves that can be detached fo the evening (genius) and she will change her Hair accessories from Porcelain roses in the day to a Pearl spray Hair comb in the evening. Her Hair was a soft, low, curled bun with loose tendrils. She wore a Veil for her church service that she will remove later in the day. (I would like to touch on the Veil/No Veil subject in a later Blog.
The lovely Bush Fire photography from Felixstowe came to the farm to capture some getting ready shots. I look forward to showing some pics soon.
